Only UPTET/CTET qualified applicants can apply for the SUPER TET, an offline eligibility test. Educational Qualifications for Elementary-level Teacher

  • Class 12th grade point average of at least 50 per cent and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Completed 12th grade with at least 50 per cent and have a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree (B.EI.Ed).
  • Completed Class 12th with at least a 50 per cent and are in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Bachelor’s degree and a two-year diploma in elementary education.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) and a Graduate degree.

 

Educational Qualifications for Secondary-level Teacher

Applicants must fulfil any one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree along with BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
  • A minimum of 50 per cent in graduation with a B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from the Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
  • Completed class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks, followed by a four-year bachelor’s course from a UGC accredited institute.
  • Completed class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks followed by a four-year B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
  • A minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in class 12, followed by a B.Ed. Degree.

Age Criteria for SUPER TET

Candidates who intend to apply for the position of UP Assistant Teacher must be between the ages of 21 and 40. Candidates should thoroughly study the SUPER TET age restriction requirements to ensure that their candidature meets the standards. Candidates from reserved sections are granted age relaxation per their category. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, there is an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
